MAC

I have recently brought MAC studio sculpt foundation and prep + prime powder, both these products I found were extremely successful in what the MAC sales assistant had told me, the foundation I thought really covered my face well hiding any blemishes that may have appeared, I also found using a simple foundation brush also made a lot of difference as quite frankly you don't actually need a lot of the studio sculpt as it spreads real evenly on your face. As the foundation is liquid you do need however a powder over the top to look less shiny. The prep + prime powder I found was strange at first as its so white, however it does show up translucent on your face and seems to set all your make up together quite nicely giving a light sheen to your face. Overall I was very pleased with both products and recommend anyone to try.

mustachio

As I am a keen lover of the moustache fad that is going on in the UK at the moment, my friend brought me a phone case with a moustache on, I absolutely love it and will most defiantly tell you how I get on with it. Here is a picture incase you all might like to see what I am waffling on about...

My Birthday

Well the 13th of November is unlucky for some, but not for me.... as its my birthday and the day that I get very spoilt. (I will soon be uploading some pictures for you all to see.)
On Tuesday my boyfriend took me to Chiquitos we had a lovely meal and birthday cocktails, it was the first time I had been, but yes I would most defiantly go again!! I was even given a lovely little cupcake which I thought was very sweet.

Christmas is near

Tis the season to be jolly la la la la laaaaa la la la la.....

Home

Sorry I have not written in a few days I have been a typical student and left my work till last minute, so this week I have not had much time to blog due to my busy work schedule. However I had lots of fun at home, eating nice food, getting looked after and spoilt by my family and seeing my friends. Here are a few photographs I thought you might like to see.

Home Time

I am very excited to take a visit home to see my family
and friends, it has been long awaited as i have not been
home since the start of September, I will keep you updated
on my antics back at home...

Good News

I have been working very hard recently, and really devoting all my time to my fashion assignments, thank goodness its paid off, my results came in for one of my assignments and thankfully gained a 2:1 which i was extremely pleased about...

Fireworks

Having a night off from all the work i have off was really nice as me and the fashion girls went to a firework display at the local Rugby club, the fireworks were lovely, we even treated ourselves to toffee apples which i have not had in years. All in all a very lovely night...

NEW BUYS

Black Latex Top - Topshop £10
Black Heeled Boots - Saints & Sinners £25
Gold Necklace - Topshop (Sale) £2.50
I could not resist going shopping and buying a new outfit for my friends birthday coming up.

Guerilla Marketing

I took a trip to leeds, with some of the girls on my course for a research (and shopping) day, and in the middle of the town i stopped this Guerilla Marketing, advertising IKEA furniture, it was like a little pop up living room fully fitted out, then the staff were playing games with the children getting people to notice and be aware of IKEA as a brand. I thought this was a really clever idea something to keep in mind.

Halloween

It was nice time to get dressed up for Halloween, this something that every year myself and my flat mates really go all out for, so i thought i would put on a few pictures to show you some of the Halloween outfits.

Birmingham

Vintage shop on the grounds of the Custard Factory

My course and myself have taken a trip to Birmingham to do a customer shopping profile looking at what customer shop where, and the different customers that shop in the different sectors of the shopping centre, we also took a visit to the Custard Factory which was nice as its very different to what i expected.

LOVE this advert

While watching the television in my nice new house, I came across this advert launched by Google Crome, I thought this advert was really good, showing how by using social networking and viral marketing it can spread the word about a product. This advert inspired me to keep going with my blog, as it shows how important blogging is in this 21st century.

Moving into my new house was strange not going back to my halls where I was used to, second year is going to be so different, All work gets counted towards the final degree so its important that I go to every single lecturer.

Over the summer

Over the summer i was lucky enough to go on two holidays, the first being a girls holiday in Zante/Greece, another being Tenerife with my mum,and the last holiday I went to Turkey with my Dad sister and family. This is the perfect opportunity for me to go shopping and buy lots of new holiday clothes and go crazy before going back to university.

Berlin

Outside the hostel, before walking to the train station.

Berlin wall.

In the hostel before going out to experience the nightlife.

In the main town where the main shopping mall and restaurants were situated.

Visting a small town in Berlin

In my First year at university I have had the opportunity to visit Berlin, it was an amazing experience, and we visited the most amazing place, the shopping was fabulous, the city so breathtaking, we ate in the most amazing restaurants, and experienced the nightlife to its full potential. Although picking the outfits each day and night was the hardest part, as the style in Berlin was a lot different, but nice to experience.

First Year at Uni

Its hard to write in one paragraph what my first year of uni was actually like, but it consisted of night-outs, lack of sleep, lots of cups of tea, dressing up, and lots of takeaways. I have to say last year I was very lucky with my flat mates as we all got on from day one. Admittedly before university I did rely on my mum a lot and wasn't the best at cooking, cleaning, and washing so now after a year I like to say I am domestic goddess.. or not....

Here are a few photographs from my First year at university.

My first ever post

Here goes.......
I have decided to start my own blog, and record what happens from day to day being a fashion student, being in my second year at uni has made me realise how important it is. I am going to post pictures of my life, what clothes i like and have brought, and also basic day to day things.
